It never fails and today wasn’t any different. I have this thing….this thing about the numbers10 27. It’s my time, my time to say “Thanks” and remember no matter how I am feeling at the moment I see those numbers together how lucky I am. It’s kind of cool. It’s kind of like something hits me on the side of the head and says “wake up”, “change your attitude” “change your state of being” “be grateful and remember how lucky you are”
Today I looked up at the clock all of a sudden and 10:27 was looking right back at me. I immediately stopped and thought about what I was worrying about at that very moment and realized it really wasn’t anything I couldn’t overcome and then I smiled, kissed Liam’s picture and continued on with my day more determined and renewed.
Why is 10 27 special numbers for me? Because it was the month and day in 1994 when I received my new lungs. When I truly got a chance to live life and be healthy. They are magnificent numbers to me, magnificent. And what they do for me now-“remind me to never forget, to always be grateful” is pretty important, in fact life affirming.
So I got to thinking about it…..EVERYONE should have a 10 27 of their own! A date or a lucky number to “pay attention” to. A set of numbers together that can remind them “to wake up” Really. No one can truly tell us how to be grateful or happy-we must feel it from inside and sometimes a good “wake up call and reminder” works wonders.
Is there a day or time in your life where you got “really lucky or felt very blessed” where you were saved by something or someone or you did something that you didn’t think you could do-but you did? Mark down the numbers to that month and day and use it to take you back to how much life changed for you at that moment. Then, take that inner feeling of gratitude, strength and pride you had at that moment and use it to allow you to go forward in life more determined than ever.
So pick some numbers people, and not to play the lottery but to “win” in the most important lottery of all, “Your Life”
Peace, Health, and Internal Wealth,
Dottie
