Create your Vision....

"A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown."

I am very honored and proud that Mr. Waitley is a contributor in my book.  He is an amazing inspiration to me who has given me so much insight and strength through his words.

…A creative vision for your life…

hmmm.... I must create once again I found myself thinking as I got up today ready to prepare for training towards my dreams of running strong on the track this year.

The training is hard and I have not even begun the real stuff yet.  As my good friend Lauryn Williams says, “Hard Work Knows No Limits” I have seen her “live this” many times.  True to her words and she can “back it up”

I am blessed to have a coach in Ben who pulls everything out of me he knows I need, not what “I think” I need.  Yet It gets tough and sometimes I get frustrated with the obstacles I have to overcome daily to get to where I want to be-see, I’m humanJ

I don’t complain but I do find myself getting anxious sometimes-it is then when I go back to my foundation, what I know worked while I was fighting to just take a breath..basically my childhood and young adult years before my lung transplant.

I need to “see my end picture” create my vision of what I WILL become.  My system of training EvoSport/Ultrafit is intense, yet it is a pure GIFT.

In my book Seven Letters That Saved My Life I talk about how I “dressed like an Athlete” even when I was in the hospital for infections, I dressed like a runner when I couldn’t run,….  Sometimes I need to be reminded still “how I got here” and I think back to where I have come from and also read my own book to motivate myself-which is kinda coolJ

We have a powerful tool with our mind if we use it right, it can also be a powerful enemy if we do not.  Whole-body Wellbeing is taking what you have and pulling from everything you need to strengthen it.  In this situation, using our Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual strength to determine for ourselves “what we will become”

You must live it whatever way you can-if you want to be an Athlete like I always did, dress like one so you SEE it, if you want to be a firefighter, go attend a fundraising event for them so you can “attach” to their passion for what they do and keep a little for yourself, a doctor, research the ones you admire the most, find out what they did, try to educate yourself on whatever it is you can and maybe volunteer…get it?  We must LIVE what we WANT.  There may be a “perfect” way to do that but there is also ways to do that that anyone can take on.  Anyone, no matter what challenges you have.  It will Fuel you, Empower you.

So I went to train dressed in my track leggings and my sprinting shoes –dressed just like if I was going to step on the track.  I was a sprinter today when I trained and it worked, I felt it, I engaged emotionally to what and why I was working so hard.  As I zipped  to leave and smiled, …that’s it Dottie, See, envision what it is you want.

So I would like to suggest to all of you, gear up! Read up, DO.  Hold tight to your dreams and goals and envision them daily.  Strengthen all you have to get to where you want to go, what you want to be. You can…

"What you dream you can become, What you Envision will strengthen your Dream"

LIVE LIFE FULLY DAILY…..

Dottie
